I just signed up for a new service that will help us all keep track of lessons, payments, and upcoming events better. It’s called Music Teacher’s Helper. I am not enough of a techie person to figure out how to get my domain to point to that site. Instead, I am forcing you to make extra clicks. Sorry.

Potential new students can fill out a registration form right on the site, and current students can log in and see their schedule, payments due, and any other notes.

Summer lessons
Hi all,
I just got a call about summer lessons, so I thought I would post something here to get you by while I figure out my full plan. YES, I am teaching lessons in the summer. It will be a flexible schedule for you and for me, different than during the school year so you can take those summer vacations.
I’ll get together a letter soon about summer lessons, but in the meantime, call or email if you want to chat more about summer flute, voice, or beginning piano lessons.
*I really want to have some mini camps, group lessons, and fun classes during the summer, so if you have any ideas or are interested, let me know.

Welcome to 2012.
I am really looking forward to this year with the music studio. All of the students are working really hard and making beautiful music. I hope to add more students and grow this studio into one of the biggest and best in Juneau.
I’ve got plans in the works, including recitals, group lessons, and adding technology to the studio so I can email your or your child’s lesson to you for reference during your practice.
What’s your New Years resolution? If it involves learning flute, piano, or voice, give me a call or send me an email. I would love to work with you.
December Update
Happy December and Happy Holiday season. Everyone is very busy and I am excited about the music we have been making here at Impassion Music Studio.
CURRENT STUDENTS: Winter Break: We will be having a 1-week break for the holidays. There will be NO LESSONS Dec. 18-26. I am rescheduling Monday, Dec. 26th lessons for later in the week so you can still have a lesson. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the winter break.
NEW STUDENTS: Impassion Music Studio is accepting students for spring term, starting in January. Visit the calendar page or contact me at sandy.k.fortier@gmail.com to find a weekly lesson time.
I have been working on expanding the studio, and will be scheduling recitals, workshops, and group lessons in the next year. So get excited, and please join us.

I’m expanding
Great news!
I have decided to expand my studio. I will now be teaching flute, voice and beginning piano. I will update the website more soon, but in the meantime, if you are interested in music lessons for any of those instruments, please get in touch. The expanded schedule starts the first week of November.
